Botanical Gardens

This past Saturday was a bit of an exciting day for me. I had been wanting to go to the Botanical Gardens for quite some time, but I hadn't had anyone with which to go, and wasn't quite wanting to go alone. Thankfully, my friend, Lance, came up with the idea of going.

So, that being said, we spent a good bit of time there. It was hot, humid, and even casual Lolita wear wore me out, so we weren't there quite as long as we could have been, but I feel that the trip was productive, nonetheless.

The Botanical Gardens shoot was a bit interesting for me. The reason I say this is, because - though I love macro photography - I do not yet have a macro specific lens. It would have come in handy, seeing as I was trying to shoot close ups of flowers, insects, and my dollfie...but it was still good practice.

Also, please be sure to check out the pictures by "browsing". I didn't choose to feature all of them, but people often tend to like the works I didn't think are as great. ^^
